Out-of-hospital birth
If you would like to have a self-determined birth in familiar surroundings, I will be happy to accompany you at home in a familiar, safe environment. Interventions are minimized and you can benefit from the familiar atmosphere. In the event of a transfer, as an attending midwife I can continue to support the birth with the necessary clinical assistance and bring it to a successful conclusion.
Personal 1:1 care
I am always there for you during the birth: with a calm presence, empathetic support of the natural processes and with professional expertise. I will look after you from the moment you go into labor until your newborn baby is first laid. For a gentle start to life, I particularly encourage undisturbed, non-stimulating bonding and a loving start to breastfeeding from the very beginning.
Inpatient birth at Vivantes Klinikum am Urban
On request or if there is a medical indication, I offer in-hospital births. As an attending midwife I work together with the doctors on duty in a cooperative and trusting manner. You will have access to drug-based pain therapy (epidural or nitrous oxide), other necessary medical products and experienced
medical support.
